My name is Michelle Craig. I’m a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, public school teacher, neighbor, and advocate. I am excited to announce that I am running for Cary Town Council, District B!

I was born and raised in North Carolina. Ten years ago my husband and I bought our first home and moved to Cary along with our three-year-old. Our family has grown, and it is exciting to raise our children (now ages 8 and 13) in a town that I am proud to call our home. I love our community more and more each year and feel so invested as I both live and work in District B.

​

I have served our community for eight years as a PTA parent (serving in various roles at Briarcliff Elementary and East Cary Middle as VP, advocacy chair, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion chair), teacher, and volunteer. In addition, I have advocated for issues of equity at the county, state, and federal levels. Now, it is time that I focus my attention on Cary.
